Established in 1875, Domaine des Brosses is located 10 km south of Sancerre, in the heart of the Loire Valley, Since 1973, the Girard family has overseen the estate, including its hectares of hillside vineyards around the village of Veaugues. Today Nicolas Girard leads the domaine, drawing on international experience with Sauvignon Blanc to refine vineyards and cellar practices.

Vineyard & Vintage: The grapes for this wine are grown in the commune of Morogues, a site known for its southwest-facing slopes and Kimmeridgian marl bedrock, found 3 feet below surface. The cool yet sunny climate of the region promotes slow ripening, which enhances aromatic precision and freshness. The vineyard conditions result in a wine with notable body, minerality, and balance – hallmarks of the appellation.

Viticulture & Vinification
- Grapes are gently pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery to preserve freshness and aromatics
- Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures
- Wine is aged on fine lees, enhancing body, complexity, and texture

ABV: 13,5%

Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow appearance with aroma of white fruit, pepper, and mineral notes. Round and silky with elegant acidity and a menthol finish. Food Pairing: Grilled seafood, salads, or enjoyed on its own – served well chilled.
